The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with participation of national and international organizations, associations and other sponsors has the honor to invite for the 1st International conference "Open science and innovation in Ukraine 2022", which will be held on October 27-28, 2022 in Kyiv in online format.

#OSICU2022

OSICU2022 is an international scientific conference on open science and innovation in Ukraine (timed to the international week of open access), which is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and with the support of international organizations. Leading experts from around the world will share their experience and discuss the ways of implementing the best practices of open science and innovation in Ukraine. The event includes presentations of top international specialists and experts. The conference is timed to the international Week of Open Access.

OSICU2022 is a platform for the exchange of experience for scientists, representatives of scientific libraries, repositories, research projects, employees in the field of IT, publishers of scientific journals, developers of scientific information platforms and systems, graduate students and young scientists, project managers, startups co-organizers, library associations, scientists working on the development of artificial intelligence.

Report requirements

Submit your abstract, including title, presentation plan (abstract no more than 500 words) and contact details of the participant. Please note that it is not possible to submit a report with more than one presenter. All materials will be reviewed by members of the program committee. Please send your application in DOC to the email: conference@dntb.gov.ua

Poster submission requirements

Submit your poster paper in DOC format that describes aspects of the research such as: main idea, practical significance, and innovative, scientific, and/or societal impact. The poster report should include: the plan of your report (the abstract of the poster report should be no more than 500 words), contact details of the participant (name, position, name of the institution, city, country, ORCID identifier).

All materials will be reviewed by members of the program committee. The booth session will be held in on line format with the possibility of presenting demo models and prototypes. Abstract and poster should be submitted and presented in Ukrainian or English.

Theses submissions requirements

Submit your previously unpublished theses in Word format according to the following structure and format:

In the theses title: name of the study; Names of authors; ORCID author identifier (https://orcid.org/); academic title and scientific degree (if available); full name of the institution (institution, organization); contact details of the authors: e-mail.

Theses: from 1800 to 3200 characters, including spaces. The text is printed in Times New Roman font, line spacing - 1.0, pin - 12. All abbreviations (except the generally accepted ones) should be decoded at the first use.

The title of the study should briefly convey the main content of the work. The introduction should highlight the relevance of this work.

Materials and methods: a list of sources and methods used.

Research results:features of scientific research, obtained results of the research, its details and consequences.

Conclusions:: research results and practical or theoretical significance of this work.

References (if available) should be in Vancouver style.

All materials will be checked by members of the program committee for plagiarism. Accepted theses will be published in an electronic version. Please send your abstracts in Word format to the email: conference@dntb.gov.ua
